Every Run,On the Record.
Kova records on the wrist and reads on the phone: route, splits, heart rate, climb. Three things it does that a stopwatch cannot — race you against the runner you actually are, tell two people where you are, and stay legible at 5 a.m.
Free to record, forever. Pro adds the derived layer · $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, billed by the App Store.
Two kilometres at conversational effort, heart rate settling into Z2. The watch records; nothing asks for your attention.
Race the Run You’re Capable Of
A personal best is one good day. The projected ghost is built from your last eight runs on the route — pace, heart-rate drift and the climb — so the runner beside you is the one your training actually supports.
Two People Know Where You Are
Name two contacts once. When you start a run they get a link — a live map, your last ping and how long you have been out. They do not need the app, an account, or a phone like yours.
Built to Be Read in the Dark
Most runs happen before sunrise or after work. Night mode drops the map, kills the accent colour and doubles the numerals, so a glance costs you nothing and the screen never blinds you at a crossing.
Free Is What Happened.
Pro Is What It Means.
Every run you record is charted on the web for free — totals, splits, bests, routes. Pro adds the derived layer: what the training is doing to you, measured against your own baseline rather than anyone else’s.
No model guesses your effort. Every Pro figure is arithmetic over numbers you recorded, printed with the assumption it rests on so you can disagree with it.
Two Tiers. No Ads. No Third Party.
Do I Need the Phone on a Run?
No. The watch app records on its own with GPS and heart rate, and syncs when you are back in range. Beacon needs a connection to relay pings.
Does Beacon Keep My Location?
Only while the run is live. The link expires at the finish and the pings are discarded — the route stays in your own history, nowhere else.
What Happens If I Stop Pro?
Every run and every recorded number stays yours and stays visible. The derived charts stop updating; nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage.
Can I Export?
GPX and CSV per run, or the whole archive at once from the portal. Runs also write to Apple Health as workouts.
